• Ensuring that the home care worker arrives at the scheduled time according to the planning. However, arrival may vary by plus or minus 30 minutes depending on the previous patient or an unplanned medical emergency.
• Ensuring replacement of staff members in case of absence with another member of the team.
• Carrying out each intervention with respect for the patient, their fundamental rights, their property, their private living space, their privacy, their culture, and their lifestyle choices.
• Ensuring that all staff maintain strict political, religious, and philosophical neutrality.
• Respecting and enforcing a strict duty of confidentiality regarding all information that may be obtained in the course of their duties or through their presence in the patient’s home.Au devoir de discrétion qui demeurera même après la cessation de la prise en charge.
• Maintaining this duty of confidentiality even after the end of care provision.
• Ensuring that staff do not accept any delegation of authority over the patient’s assets, property, or rights, and do not accept donations, deposits of money, or valuable items for personal benefit.
• Ensuring that staff do not provide private services to patients outside of their professional duties in the home care setting.
